How do I apply my press-ons?

Every order comes with all the tools you'll need to prep and apply your nails.

 

Step 1 - File and Buff

File your nails down to the tip of your finger. Then rough up the surface with the nail buffer. This will give the nail glue/tabs more to stick to. (press-ons come pre-filed on the inside!)

 

Step 2 - Push back cuticles

Use the cuticle pusher to push back your cuticles. This prevents oils and dirt from getting under the nail because the cuticle creates a gap between your nail and the press-on. (Trim your excess cuticles with a cuticle clipper if you’d like.)

 

Step 3 - Dehydrate your nails

Use the alcohol pads to wipe off your nail beds. The natural oils on your skin/nails can prevent the glue from sticking as well.

 

Step 4 - Application

If using glue tabs: find the right size glue tab to match the size of your nail bed. Place the glue tab close to your cuticle, but not touching it. Place the press-on on your nail, starting at a 45 degree angle. Hold the press on down for a few seconds.

If using nail glue: put a thin layer of glue on both your nail and the inside of the press-on. Place the press-on on your nail, starting at a 45 degree angle. Hold the press on down for a few seconds while the glue sets.

 

Tips

Start with your pinky nails and work towards the thumbs

Keep extra nail glue/glue tabs with you in case a nail falls off
